14 December 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.“ Proverbs‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV. In all that we do, we mustn’t lean on our own understanding or hastily decide on important decisions but to reverence God, seek His face in prayer, and ask for His wisdom to make wise choices in life. James 1:5 Most of our emotional choices are wrong ones in life, so does our communication. If our communication with God isn’t good, so will be ours with others. Intimacy with God brings insight to His wisdom.

“For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.” Proverbs‬ ‭9‬:‭11‬-‭12.‬ ‭To build strong and godly families, we need the wisdom of God to thrive and have the fear of the Lord in humility. Pride will always bring quarrels, arguments and divisions but humility will always bring love, forgiveness, and unity with divine reconciliation. Do not allow bitter root to grow in unforgiveness or be angry overnight but guard our hearts above all things in prayer, repentance and forgiveness. Proverbs 4:23. The enemy will always cause breaches in this world but God always build bridges in His kingdom. The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper. Proverbs‬ ‭19‬:‭8‬.

Prayer: O Lord my God, if there are any prideful ways in me, I ask for your forgiveness. Let me draw close to you as you draw close to me. Let me seek your face and wisdom in all decisions and communication in my life. Guide me in the path of your righteousness for your name sake. May godly wisdom prosper in my mind and heart to do all things for the glory of God. Bring unity, oneness, and love through wisdom in my family, parents, children and grandchildren, in Jesus Name, Amen.
