15 August 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “The Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭32‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ We need the divine work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Even in dry, troubled times, or deserts, God’s presence was with Moses at the burning bush; in the fiery furnace with 3 Hebrews; in the cave of Adullum with David; in the cave of Horeb with Elijah, and in all impossible places. God’s hand is never short to bring healing, restoration, and reconciliation. They are the works of His Holy Spirit.

“The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert, his righteousness live in the fertile field. The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.”Isaiah‬ ‭32‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭The gifts and the fruit of the Spirit has the power to transform all our dry places into His oasis and rivers of living waters. As morning dawns and evening fades, the Lord brings forth songs of joy in our spirit and soul, to bring rest to our bodies. Psalm 65:8 Trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

Prayer: O Lord my God, fill me with your Holy Spirit and bring me closer to you as I pray and sing unto you with songs of praise and deliverance. Lift me up with your mighty hand and strengthen me with thy Spirit. Let the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be pleasing to you and find rest to my soul. For you are my hiding place, in Jesus Name, Amen.
