Today’s Inspiration: “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.”Isaiah 60:1-2. Our spiritual life is intimately connected to our personal life, more than our professional or ministry life. Our proximity with the Lord can be easily obscured by the problems of the world. Many of us make the mistake of putting the ministry ahead of the minister. That's where we get burnt out.
Matthew 6:33 tells us that we have to first minister to the Lord because it’s the Lord that ministers to the ministry. Likewise when you are oblivious of your boss’s priorities, you will have problems. To have good food, you will need good fire for the furnace as a chef. As a believer or ambassador of the gospel, our spiritual growth is dependent on our fire at the altar. And the fire is dependent on the sacrifice. Remember it is not how much knowledge you have in prayer but how much faith you have in prayer that move mountains. Mark 11:23-24. Our prayer, worship and fasting life at the altar reflects our hunger and thirst for God. When we put God first in prayer, supernatural things shall manifest in divine breakthroughs.
Prayer: O Lord my God, you alone deserves all the glory, honour and praises. Forgive me if I had put the things of the world and people before you. Lead me from the outer court and into your Holy Place once again for I long to seek your face. Let the fire in your temple of the Holy Spirit be lit day and night. Let I not forget all things healing, miracles, signs and wonders you have done in my life. You are my divine testimony and my rock, I shall not be shaken. You are my Shepherd, I shall not have lack and my Healer, I shall be healed in Jesus' Name, Amen.
