Today’s Inspiration: “Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.” Proverbs 10:17 NIV. Healing comes to the spirit man through correction, consecration and comfort. The flesh would not heed discipline of God’s word but the one who submit, surrender and starts obeying is blessed. The Bible teaches us that it is the Word of God that disciplines us and that’s why godly parents require spiritual discipline to use their lives as a godly example to instruct their children the way they should follow our Lord Jesus. Proverbs 22:6.

Jesus spoke of this parable,”What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’ “ ‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. “Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go. “Which of the two did what his father wanted?” “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.” Matthew 21:28-31 NIV. We need to teach our children repentance from a young age through a repentant heart ourselves.
Prayer: O Lord my God, a contrite heart and a broken spirit you will not despise or turn away. Lead us daily to sanctify our spirit, soul, and body that we be discipline to repent of our sins, take heed of your Word and be teachable by your Holy Spirit. Discipline our mind that we shall think positively, eat healthily, walk godly and speak gracefully, for obedience is better than sacrifice, in Jesus Name, Amen.
