Today’s Inspiration: “And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people). Ephesians 1:18 AMP Without prayers the eyes of our hearts will not be opened and our spirit can slumber into spiritual blindness. What the enemy uses is busyness to keep you away from your prayer altar. Without prayers, there is no spiritual power in a Christian life.

Without spiritual awakening, there is no breakthrough especially in the family, marketplace, missions or ministry. Holiness is the Highway of the Lord, who enlightens those who seek Him and breakthroughs come from sanctification. For the night [this present evil age] is almost gone and the day [of Christ’s return] is almost here. So let us fling away the works of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light. Let us conduct ourselves properly and honorably as in the [light of] day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and irresponsibility, not in quarreling and jealousy. But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for [nor even think about gratifying] the flesh in regard to its improper desires.”Romans 13:12-14 AMP

Prayer: O Lord my God, lead in your hope of glory which is your marvellous light, and with your vision bring us out from the darkness of the world and this age. Give me a new vision by your Holy Spirit to behold your word which is the lamp to my feet and light to my path. Search my heart and reveal my sinful, dark and broken places that it may be removed, rebuilt, renew and restore to be revived for your purpose, power and perfect will in sanctification. Cleanse me with clarity in Jesus Name, Amen.
