13 December 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭32‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ God’s Word brings times and seasons in our lives with His Wisdom and Ways. If we choose to obey and trust in His Word, He makes all things beautiful in its time, even in times of tests, trails, and tribulations. Ecclesiastes 3:11. Joseph was thrown into the pit and prison but God sent traders, and the cook respectively. Crisis can unlock our dependency on God in prayer and the gifts of the Spirit.

Our purpose on this earth is to know Christ and His love for our souls, so that our hope is not found in man or things but in God, to fulfil His divine purpose in us. In this end of times, signs of wars, floods, unprecedented earthquakes and famine is telling us the coming of the Lord is near. Souls perish without knowledge of Jesus and man fear without the gospel of God. Let’s use every opportunity to share the love of Christ and the sure salvation of God’s Word to the lost, the least and the last. This also tells us that God’s healing, miracles, signs and wonders shall also multiply in the end of times for His glory shall come for His glorious Church. Ephesians 5:27. Key is to pray for the awakening of the Church to fulfil God’s mandate for missions.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let our spiritual eyes and our mind be open to the things above and not on the earth. Let your Word be like rain and dew to our souls, that we be awakened by your outpouring Holy Spirit in prayer, petitions and thanksgiving in our hearts. Let the peace of God break every fear, anxieties, and stress for souls who are sick, lost and heavily burdened. Let Christ be preached and shared to bring healing to sick, provision to the poor, and the hope of salvation, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
