Today‘s Inspiration: "Give thanks to the Lord Almighty, for the Lord is good; his love endures forever.” For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were before,’ says the Lord.“ Jeremiah 33:11. The Spirit of the Lord manifests in His love and His wisdom. Today the world’s heart has turned cold, dark and evil as we can see more becoming lovers of themselves as prophesied by Apostle Paul in the end of times. “People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—“ 2 Timothy 3:2-4.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. To have restoration of love in one’s life is to repent before the Lord, for forgiveness and atonement through the Blood of Christ brings healing to one’s heart, soul and body. It is a divine transformation. When the love of God is restored, there will be godly wisdom and divine provisions. We become lovers of God, rather than the world, seeking Christ than mammon. Our hearts holds the kingdom of God. Luke 17:21.
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the strength when I am weak, treasure that I seek and you are my all in all. Restore my heart and my love for your kingdom. You are my refuge and my defense, my rock and my fortress, the horn of my salvation and my divine provider. Make me lie down on your green pastures and lead me to your quiet still waters. Restore my soul, my passion and my zeal for your kingdom and righteousness, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
