Today’s Inspiration: “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:17-18‬. ‭Holy Spirit changes our heart and countenance.

In the New Covenant Jesus abstracted from the Torah of prophet Isaiah declaring,” The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.” Isa‬iah ‭61:1-3‬. Anointing comes when we follow God’s will and obey His Word. Calling is established with commitment but fruitfulness is produced by consistency. The gifts of the Spirit draws people to Christ but it’s the fruit of the Spirit that grows the Church.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe this is your calling and gifts that will arise and shine in my life as a salt and light to others for healing and deliverance, to bring salvation to the lost, poor and sick. The harvest is plentiful and let me be your fruitful harvester, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
