12 October 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Anxiety is most silent and deadly enemy that is caused by fear. It causes doubts and unbelief when times of difficulties or crisis comes, and could even cause one to be depressed, stress and sick.

That’s why guarding our hearts daily is the top priority in prayer. Proverbs 4:23. It is one thing to know who Jesus is, but it’s another to follow Him. Without denying ourselves and flesh, taking up the Cross, we cannot follow Jesus. Luke 9:23. Our flesh must be crucified daily at the Cross for our spirit man to be resurrected, revived and renewed in the Spirit. Our spiritual life is directly impacted by our prayer life. Prayer renews our mind in repentance, forgiveness and love as a living sacrifice. Let us be lesser and God be greater. John 3:30. Cast all our cares to God for He cares for us, and all our anxiousness is taken to the Cross. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, I give your thanks for you are always mindful of us. We are sons and daughters of the Most High God. Remove all fears, anxieties and stress within us and replace them with your love, faith, and hope. Let Calvary be the cross over into your presence, power, and peace. Let Christ fills my mind with thy goodness, greatness, and grace, for by your stripes I am healed, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
