13 November 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things, and the work of their hands brings them reward.” Proverbs‬ ‭12‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ The work of our hands are as important as the words of our mouth. Likewise our actions and character are as important as our prayers and worship. For the preaching of Christ is not just of words but of power. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 Christ spoke,” Harvest is plentiful but workers are few.” Matthew 9:37

Apostle James taught,”the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.” James‬ ‭2‬:‭26‬ ‭The kingdom of doesn’t need a seating church but a serving one. Our giving reflects more on our spiritual life than just our gathering. Apostle Paul told the Galatians,”Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭7‬-‭9‬ ‭

Prayer: O Lord my God, for you came not to be served but to serve the purpose and the kingdom of God. Let us not just be healed but to be harvesters of souls. Let us not just be provided but to be providers for your missions. May our hearts freely receive and also freely give. May the Lord establishes the work of our hands, in Jesus Name, Amen.
