Today‘s Inspiration: “Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.” 2 Peter 1:10 NIV. Nothing in this world is coincident or by chances. Our God is highly intentional and purposeful in His creation to fulfil one’s calling and election. Many do not know their calling is because they are looking to man or things and not God. It is only when our relationship with God is intimate and intentional that we begin to see His Holy Spirit inside of us.
Our calling and election requires faith and character. Apostle Peter taught,"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:5-8. Glory to God.
Prayer: O Lord my God, your sheep hears your voice, you know me and I follow you. May the eyes of my heart and spirit be open to your vision and let my ears and my feet be obedient to your still small voice in thy calling and purpose for my life. Let your divine word be a lamp to feet and light to my path, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
