Today’s Inspiration: “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭21‬ ‭NIV‬‬. A Christian in a family must alway first be submitted to Christ in His likeness to be blessed. The fear of the Lord brings wisdom in handling all relationships in a family. Most of family problems resides in communication and if we don’t have humility, it is hard to build loving relationships and when everyone lacks submission to God, it also lacks submission to one another in marriage and parenting. We have to first learn how to yield to the Lord and obey His commands to taste and see the goodness of God.

Apostle Paul taught,”Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.” Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭27‬ ‭NIV. When we submit to the Lord, there is peace and prosperity in relationships and success.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let not my pride hinder my relationship with you and others. In all situations, I choose to submit to your word and commandments, for they are a delight to my spirit and light to my path. I ask for wisdom of the Holy Spirit to communicate always in a godly way and may there be fruitfulness in my spirit. For obedient is better than sacrifice, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
