Today‘s Inspiration: “Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.” John 6:27 NKJV. As disciples of Christ, we live not out of our work, businesses or ministry but out of the life of Christ, His word, love, spiritual gifts and calling. Jesus spoke,”For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:26. God’s gift of life is not our own to own, but a blessing to others and to love others as ourselves. Luke 6:31.

The main issues of life is that we hold on to the worldly things, events or people too tightly. And when things don’t turn out well, we take it so badly that we hurt ourselves and others. Apostle taught,”But this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none, those who weep as though they did not weep, those who rejoice as though they did not rejoice, those who buy as though they did not possess, and those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away. I Corinthians 7:29-31. Do not hold on to things and people so tightly that you no longer hold on to the Lord, His Word, and His Presence. Let’s keep our mind, heart, and hands on the Lord. His grace is sufficient for us. Shalom!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I cast all my cares on you and I set my love upon you with all my heart, all my soul, and all my strength. Break all the thoughts and emotions that are bound to things, events or people, and renew my mind with repentance, change and dependency on your Holy Spirit and Word of wisdom. Behold, I believe you Lord is able to make all things new again in my spirit, soul and body, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
