12 January 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “You shall have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:3. This is the first commandment of the Torah which speaks tons about the life on earth, our lifestyles, our dreams, and our spiritual life. Let’s start our 2022 with God as our focus and observe His ordinances. Prioritise God and He will direct your path towards His plans, purpose and promises.

The first commandment breaks all chances of idolatry that the enemy is trying to ensnare you. Idolatry can be your business, work, family, friends, projects, or even ministry. Remember this is the year to seek God personally. Matthew 6:33 “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.” Psalm 1:1-3. Spending time with God is not just in quiet time, but more in living the presence of God and putting His Word into actions by faith.

Prayer: O Lord My God, guide me to set your ordinances right in 2022 that I will not miss your worship, sermons, prayers, fellowship, discipleship and study of the Word. Let my life be your school of the Holy Spirit. For you set my boundaries and disciplines in beautiful and anointed places, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
