Today’s Inspiration: “I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than those who watch for the morning— Yes, more than those who watch for the morning.” Psalms 130:5-6 NKJV. Waiting upon the Lord is Kingdom lifestyle, discipline, and power that has been lost in the busyness within the body of Christ. We are so caught up with ministries, seminars, programs and conferences that we don’t have time personally with Jesus. Are we feeling stress, weary or even burnt out from problems after problems with work and people? Or spiritual dryness, stagnation and need a fresh infilling by the Holy Spirit? It’s time to wait upon the Lord.

King David was a man after God’s heart who prioritise waiting upon the Lord in prayer and His Word daily. Waiting upon the Lord is not just a kingdom lifestyle but a kingdom discipline to be led by the Spirit of God. Satan cannot wait because his time is short so the more we wait upon the Lord, Jesus fight ours battles and bring healing and deliverance over our situations. Waiting time in worship, prayer, and word renews our mind and increases our faith. For those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, lead me into your rest for I believe waiting time upon you is not wasted time but wonderful time of renewal, refreshing, and revival for my spirit. Make me your vessel and sanctify my soul for the master’s use. Anointing my head with oil, till my cup overflows with your presence, and fullness of joy. For all your goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life as I dwell in the mighty kingdom of God forever, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
