11 September 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “To open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.” Isaiah 42:7 NIV. Today the greatest challenge for the generation is deception. Why are there so many shootings, wars, drugs, and suicides? It’s a battle of the truth. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4 In the end of times now, even Christians can be deceived. Righteousness and truth only come from the Holy Word of God.

We need to intentionally teach our children the gospel and not leave it to the pastors or Sunday school teachers. Our children experience the true gospel when they see us pray, read and teach the word and walking in Christlikeness to love, forgive, and repent. If morality, values and principles are emulated at home, how much more the spiritual intimacy, relationship, and love for God. The falling of many Christian homes is biblical illiteracy and a compromised worldly life. But when we return to the Word of God, divine truth shall set us free and our spiritual eyes be open to discern the good and bad in God’s eyes. Spiritual transformation begins.

Prayer: O Lord my God, you called us in your righteousness; take hold of our hand. Keep and will make us to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles. Let our daily lives be led and directed to Christ Jesus and to walk according to the living Word of God. Expose all sins, iniquities and transgressions that we may repent, reconcile and be reformed by your Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name, Amen.
