Today‘s Inspiration: “The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10 NIV. Life can be uncertain, unpredictable and matters may arise unexpectedly, be it sickness, incidents, financial difficulties or broken relationships. A believer in Christ is not spared from problems similarly like a pre-believer. The key difference is that we know who truly lives in us and the Name which we can trust and turn to, who is Christ Jesus our Lord.
There are divine purposes of God in our tests, trials and tribulations in our life. As Apostle Paul taught the Christians, we learn to glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:3-5. Know this, God works all things for the good for those who are called according to his purpose. Let’s turn to Him at all times.
Prayer: O Lord my God, nothing can surprise you or matters unknown to you. Open my eyes to see your love, grace and hands on my life. Strengthen me and give me courage and wisdom in my Spirit to overcome all challenges. Mould me and use me as your vessel that all pain shall be turned into your purpose, all weakness shall be turned into your power and all lack shall be turned into your provision, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
