11 March 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” John‬ ‭14‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. We are created to be God’s habitation and not visitations, His children and not slaves. Jesus promised that if we keep His commands and obey His Word, His presence shall be on earth with us as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10. Today we see the greatest challenge globally is compromising the gospel and disobeying the commands of God.

Is the Church becoming more like the world or the world becoming more like the Church? The spiritual condition of the Nation is the spiritual condition of the Church in the city. Likewise the spiritual condition of our family, work and ministry relates to the condition of our Spirit. Hence the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 9:10. The world needs healing, forgiveness and love of God through Christ Jesus, our healer, saviour and lover of our souls. When we put Christ’s commands first in our work, family and ministry, His love and presence shall make known to us and we shall see His peace, favour and blessing surrounds us like a shield. Psalm 5:12.

Prayer: O Lord my God, fill me with your Holy Spirit and let my mind and heart be yielded to your commands and will, that I may do all things for the glory of God and to seek ye first the kingdom of God and your righteousness. I believe divine encounters are coming my way for you have the plans to prosper me, not to harm, to give me a glorious hope and future for me and family, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
