11 December 2020 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: Even when your father and mother abandon you, the Lord will take care of you. So why do you fear? Psalm 27:10. Wait on the Lord and be of good courage. He shall strengthen your heart. So the key is to wait on the Lord and He shall strengthen your heart. Psalm 27:14. Write down the Revelations He has for you and work on them. Though it tarries, wait for its appointed time. James 1:2-4. Though it tarries, wait for it as in due time He will bring the Revelations to pass. Habakkuk 2:1-3.

Our mistakes and failures in life, even our disappointments are lessons of life towards another phase of triumph. Torments in life are inevitable, but life has to go on and not brood over spilt milk in self-pity. God allows us to experience the weakest point of our life like Peter so that what we desire is only what He desires. When life comes to a standstill and when you felt the emptiness of being alone fighting your war, you ought to remember that God is your everlasting God who loves you beyond description and will not forsake you.

It's only those who has hope in the Lord and wait for His appointed time that will soar to greater heights. Isaiah 40:31. May the Lord keep you in perfect peace, those whose mind are steadfast always trusting in Him. Isaiah 26:3. It's only your faith that helps you understand the value of waiting patiently upon the Lord. Psalm 40:1. Behind every confusion is a fear and insecurity. Abandon them from your spirits as you are prone to make rashful decisions in such circumstances. Though a host of armies comes against you, do not fear so that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. God be praised.

Prayer: One thing I desire of the Lord is to dwell in His house all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire on His holy temple. Examine me O Lord and prove my integrity and trust. Try my heart and mind forever. In Jesus name amen.
