Today’s Inspiration: “How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver! The highway of the upright avoids evil; those who guard their ways preserve their lives.” Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ The success of life is not measured on position, power or popularity in the Kingdom of God, just like the best coffee is not dependent on how nice the cup looks, the shop or even the barista but on the quality of the beans are grown. Man looks on the appearance but God looks at our hearts. 1 Samuel 16:7

God chooses the most unexpected person like a shepherd to become a king, a prisoner to become a governor, or an exile to be a deliverer for His people and Nation. Wisdom doesn’t come from the intelligence of man but in the fear of the Lord. Proverbs 9:10 Wisdom manifests when one is usable, teachable and obedient to God. The flesh is crucified and the spirit is resurrected to live, not according to the world but abiding to the Word of God. Gold and silver has to be melted before they are refined and forged into value, similarly by the Lord with wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the highway in my life, and I choose to follow your Word and wisdom in obedience, which is better than sacrifice. I choose to commit all my plans to you as you direct my feet, my words and thoughts with your Holy Spirit. For those who know their God shall be strong, and do great exploits. Make me your vessel and your workmanship in Jesus' Name, Amen.
