10 September 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,” Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Our direction and destiny in life comes from the discernment and devotion to be filled and lead by the Spirit of God in our spirit man. Everyone has their calling, gift and purpose in life. But timing and results belong to God. It gets clearer when we draw closer to the author and finisher of our faith, who is Christ. Hebrews 12:2.

Jesus didn’t do any miracles, signs and wonders until He has waited upon God for 30 years before power came into ministry despite being the King of Kings. Moses waited for 40 years in the wilderness before delivering the Israelites from Egypt despite being the prince of Egypt and Caleb waited for 40 years before destroying giants despite having a different spirit and great strength. Even David became King of Israel at the age of 30 despite killing Goliath in his youth. Great exploits come from great patience and perseverance in the presence of God. It’s is the art of waiting, trusting and hearing the voice of God.

Prayer: O Lord my God, renew and refill our lamps daily with fresh oil. For our Spirit is the lamp of God and your Spirit anoints us daily to reach the lost, the least and the last. Let me be like the wise virgins who trims their lamps and gets their vessel filled with your oil in the end of times. Lead us and reveal to us as a witness of your divine word of healing, miracles and prophetic fulfilment. For all your promises are Yes and Amen in the Spirit, who does the will of God, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
