Today's Inspiration: If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. Sometimes we are too hard on ourselves refusing to forgive the sins of others or even ourselves for we seem to disappoint Jesus over and over again. We need to remember He forgives our sins even though we were sinners no matter how vile they maybe. If Jesus forgives us we need to forgive others. Romans 5:10.
Forgiveness is appreciating what Jesus has done at the cross for us. The thief even in the last moment of following Jesus is allowed entry to His kingdom. So forgiveness is unconditional. It's not an option but a mandate.
Is there anyone you can't forgive in your life? Perhaps you need to bring to the Lord this morning that the master can be resolved in your hearts. We always find forgiveness the hardest to do and when we forgive we don't wipe out the incident. It's time His people seriously take into account this issue of forgiveness or our Father cannot forgive us. Matthew 6:14-15.
Prayer: Lord help us to forgive those people who have committed unpardonable sin against us. Thank You Lord for Your teaching of forgiveness that liberates our soul. In Jesus' name, Amen.
