10 October 2020 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself but He who works for the honor of the One who sent him is a man of truth, there is nothing false to him. John 7:18. We have to gauge what we hear with the word of God which is the truth, the way and the life. Let our thought, our speech and our behavior be according to the oracles of God to bring life and healing to others.

Complete Obedience to God's word is the whole duty of all man. This word has been given to Adam from the beginning of creation and throughout unity. God desires complete obedience above all else and we should never waiver from His word.

Life is filled with uncertainties. Only Jesus knows our tomorrow. When He heals miraculously, He heals the whole man. In Him we are to be neither hot nor cold. Lukewarmness is not the language of our Lord as He spoke to the church in Laodicea. Revelation 3:15-16. Lukewarmness is being excluded from the Kingdom of God. Therefore, let's take heed of what the Spirit warned us.

There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1. Only the devil the prince of the world stands condemned. John 15:11. So do not have self-condemnation when things go wrong. For every wrong, the word of God offers the correct way to go through love who seeks after mankind for God is love. Our duty is to do good, and be joyful in all circumstances. Only Jesus has the authority over all people that He might give eternal life to ask those God has given him. John 17:2. Therefore pursue what is above so that you will not miss your reward. God be praised.

Prayer: Great is the Lord Almighty! He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. His understanding and power have no limit. The Lord sustains the humble. He provides the righteous food and shelter in time and hide them in the cleft of the Rock. Who can fathom His next move? Lord grant us peace and silence before You that we might hear You distinctly and know your next plan for us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
