10 March 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Many are saved but few are sanctified in their journey and walk with Christ. If our bodies requires to be washed and bath daily due to the dirt and filth in the world, how much more the soul with the sins, hurts and the pain that needs to be cleansed and healed.

Our hurting reactions comes from our emotional afflictions in the past. It brings guilt and shame in our soul and they have to be addressed by Christ. The wrong image of God lied by the devil is that He is filled with anger and judgement and therefore when we sin, we hide, run and draw away from God like Adam. Genesis 3:10. But Christ reveals our New identity not as slaves but sons and daughters of God, and through His blood which cleanses our sins, iniquities and transgressions, drawing us back to God giving us His spirit of Sonship. Galatians 4:6. Holy Spirit reveals to us the Father’s heart through Christ, who is love and love covers a multitude of sin. 1 Peter 4:8. Inner healing helps us to address all our hurts in the past and allow Christ to redeem us from sin, guilt and shame. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, draw me close to you and reveal all areas that need to be healed of my negative reactions, thoughts and emotions. Lead me with your Holy Spirit to bring fresh revelation of truth within me. It is for freedom that Christ sets me free and who the Son sets free is free indeed. Let me live a life of sanctification, holiness and righteousness in Christ who strengthens me. Let all healing reconcile me back to you, Abba Father, in Jesus Name, Amen.
