Today’s Inspiration: “Thus says the Lord: “In an acceptable time I have heard You, And in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You as a covenant to the people, To restore the earth, To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages.” Isaiah 49:8 NKJV. The most power position of restoration is the position of prayer. When we try to assert our minds, we struggle and strife but if we would to submit and surrender to God, we triumph and thrive.
Salvation doesn’t happen without God’s timing and help for Salvation is founded by prayer and by the hand of God. It is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8. Prayer always leads us to our next Praise and our Praise unto God humbles ourselves to Pray. For it is not by might not power but by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Zechariah 4:6. Prayer changes all things through Christ. When we pray, God not only changes our hearts but to others we prayed for as well. Never be too busy for prayer, overworked or overstressed. Prayer honours God. Praise Him.
Prayer: O Lord my God, draw me close to you for you are my Shepherd, I will lack nothing. Your presence is my joy and your peace is my refuge. Awaken my spirit from all distractions, distress and discouragement and bring me into your dwelling place in prayer. In silence, stillness and surrender, for I shall find you Lord in the secret place. Restore my soul and renew my mind, in Jesus' Name, I pray, Amen.
