Today’s Inspiration: “Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.”Psalms 20:6 NIV God’s anointing in our lives comes from the brokenness in our lives where the shepherd heals the lamb, ‘cause in Hebrew the word “anoint” means to rub with ointment. He brings us from darkness into light; sickness into wellness, and heaviness into joy. Isaiah 61:3

It takes surrender, submission and obedience to the Lord. Anointing is the contact, connection, communication and communion between the sheep and the shepherd. Psalm 23:1 He heals us, reforms us, renews us, and rebuilds us from the inside out. Prophet Isaiah said,”In that day their burden will be lifted from your shoulders, their yoke from your neck; the yoke will be broken because you have grown so fat.”Isaiah 10:27 Anointing comes from finding strength from the Lord.

Prayer: O Lord my God, turn my pain into your purpose; my past into your praise and my problems into your prayers. For in your presence there is a fullness of joy for you are my fountain of life, and in your light I see light. May the oil of joy from the Lord be my strength, in Jesus Name, Amen.
