10 December 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Learning to offer our prayers, plans, problems and purpose to God is paramount to new season of transformation. It is not long prayers that pleases God, it is deeper prayers that God desires for our hearts. Many pray for what they want daily, but few pray for what they can give daily to the Lord.

Sin, unforgiveness, jealousy, disobedient and bitterness can harden one’s heart towards God, self, and others. They do not belong to us and need consecration. Why people defile their bodies, hurt themselves and even cause hurt to others? It is a hardened heart that needs to be healed. Ezekiel 36:26. Unless we are willing to give our whole heart, soul, and body to God, we can’t experience a biblical life of a new creation, a regenerated spirit, and a born again experience with divine encounters. Unless the branches are connected to the Vine, it will not bear its fruit. John 15:5. Deep prayers graft us firmly, deeply, and wholeheartedly to the Vine.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I choose to surrender and cast all my cares to you because I know you love me and prays for me. Remove all my fears, doubts and unbelief that is hindering my faith. I repent from all my ways, thoughts and words that are not pleasing to you. Take away my heart of stone and give me a new heart of Christ. Make me a fruitful branch that bears your image, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
