10 December 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Salvation of souls bring eternal life through faith in Christ. The Samaritan woman at the well reveals God’s plans for the Gentiles and evangelism to Samaria. What we see in the life on this earth is only temporal but what Jesus is bringing forth out of our Spirit is eternal. It’s this living waters that gives us healing, restoration, hope and strength daily. Jesus taught,” The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. words I spoken to you, they are Spirit and life.” John 6:63.

The Samaritan woman believed in Christ, left her water jar and went back to her town to evangelise about Jesus, for the truth had set her free. John 8:32. She no longer live for herself or in a defiled sinful life because she encountered the giver of living waters, Jesus Christ her Messiah. Strangely, the more we want Christ, the less we want of the world or the flesh. She believed and became the disciple of Christ. There is no relationship without discipleship with Christ. Do not chase for riches or wealth, but build up our most holy faith in praying in the Holy Spirit. Jude 1:20. Would you be willing to break from your past and unholy areas to begin a new life with Christ by believing in Him and following Him as a disciple? If Christ can change such a sinner into a powerful evangelist in Samaria, what’s more can He not do for you if you believe. Glory to God! He can turn all your pain into His purpose for the kingdom of God like the woman of Samaria.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe you are the Messiah and you are coming again to receive your Bride of Christ. Instead of ashes, give me a crown of beauty; Instead of mourning, give me the oil of joy and instead of heaviness, give me a garment of praise. For in Christ the old has passed away and the new has come, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
