1 September 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s inspiration: “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” Psalms‬ ‭133‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬. We are created for God and His Kingdom, for unity in diversity and not division in differences. How do we hear God’s voice? It is always the one voice, the first voice, and the still small voice which brings agreement, anointing, and affirmation for love, unity and oneness. The world is always filled with different deceptive voices and the enemy uses it to steal, kill and destroy but Christ came to restore, heal and bring peace to our soul, family and community.

Jesus taught, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭25.‬ ‭We have to pray for our family, community and nation to hear and take heed to the voice of God. Obedience is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22. Fear will always be dispelled and cast out when we trust God in unity. It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. Psalms‬ ‭133‬:‭2‬-‭3‬. ‭Unity in Christ always brings humility, health, and honour. May the LORD brings unity for our Nation.

Prayer: O Lord my God, who is like you Lord? There is none like you who brings us out from the slavery of sins and give us a spirit of sonship that we could all hear the voice of our Abba Father God. This day I pray for unity in my family, community and Nation for the Lord our God is One, the King of the universe and Israel. May the Lord pour forth a fresh oil over us, bring new wine in the vats, and multiply the fruit of the Spirit among us. Nothing could separate us from the love of God that is in Christ, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
