Today’s Inspiration: “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:11-12 NIV. Prayer is the greatest threat to the kingdom of darkness, because it is the power of the Kingdom of God. Our spiritual fervor in serving God is not doing more things for God but rather ministering to the Lord by being in His presence.

It is our being with God that sustain our doing for God. One can get burnt out or weary is when we mixed up the two, and focus on progress rather than on prayers. Although prayer moves us into faith of actions, prayer is the action of faith in the eyes of the Lord. Prayer does not enable us for greater works for it is the greater works of God. Jesus priorities prayers with the Father in heaven even before the dawn of the day for ministry. How’s our prayer life today? Prayer unfolds the plans, purpose, providence and power of God.
Prayer: O Lord my God, down at your feet is the most high place. I set aside all my cares, all my thoughts and all my emotions, to be with you Lord in prayer, petitions and thanksgiving in my heart. In your presence Lord, I seek your face and your heart. Lead me by your Spirit and your Word that I may hear your voice, for you are my hiding place, refuge and resting place in all seasons, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
