Today’s Inspiration: “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” I Thessalonians 5:23-24 NKJV. Sanctification is to be set apart for God and by God himself. It is not a ritual or religious acts by man which seemingly consecrate the flesh on the outside but not in the spirit. Have we ever tried to change our own attitude, behaviour and character but seems impossible? Let alone trying to change the people around us is a futile act without God. Apostle Paul emphasised the need of praying unceasingly in the will the God giving thanks in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18.
Divine breakthroughs come when we surrender our hearts to God by pleading the blood of Jesus. There is power of transformation and redemption through the grace and mercy of the lamb of God in Sanctification. Apostle Paul taught,” The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! Hebrews 9:13-14. Only the Blood of Christ can break every chains of sins, addictions, immorality and illnesses. Only the Cross of Christ can break all curses, infirmities and generational iniquities. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I plead the blood of Jesus over my spirit, soul, and body. Sanctify my thoughts, emotions, words and actions as I yield them into thy perfect will, holiness and righteousness through your Word. Separate my sins from me as for as the east is from the west. For in thy Holy Spirit, there is liberty from the world, the enemy and the flesh, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
