Today’s Inspiration: “You, O Lord, are a shield for me. My glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah” Psalms‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Our greatest battle in these times are not wars which we see but the battle of the mind in heaviness, hopelessness, and helplessness. They are the lies and deception of Satan who plants seed of fears. It is not a physical battle but a spiritual one. We have to guard our minds and hearts daily with God’s Word for it is the power and supernatural shield of God’s amour over our thoughts and emotions. Ephesians 6:11.

Depression is the greatest battle of our age and the best weapon against it is the Word and Spirit of God. His divine word brings physical, emotional and mental rest to our body, soul and spirit. The key to lift up our heads, our joy and countenance again is the Altar of Thankfulness. The enemy greatest deception is for one to focus on self but the strongest power over him is to focus on God. You are no longer carrying the weight but it is God who has sustained you daily. Contentment breaks unhealthy expectations of self, and with godliness comes great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6 Jesus says,” Take my yoke for it is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:30

Prayer: O Lord my God, you hear my prayers and lifts up my head towards you, for you are where my help comes from. In all seasons, good or bad I choose to trust you with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
