1 August 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.”Isaiah‬ ‭32‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Healing comes from bearing fruit in repentance. Matthew 3:8. God’s unconditional love doesn’t count our sins, faults or wrongs. He first love us even before we have faith. To touch lives we have to love them first, just as God first loved us. 1 John 4:19 Without love, life will have no meaning and without Christ, life has no purpose or fulfilment. Bearing the fruit of the Spirit breaks self-centeredness to Selflessness. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6.

The church cannot just have the form of godliness religiously but not the power of transformation relationally. 2 Timothy 3:5. The Ekklesia, the body of Christ is prophesied to be God’s glorious church and He is coming again to receive His loving Bride that has a pure heart, clear conscience, and a sincere faith. 2 Timothy 1:5. Sanctification is the goal of the Christian community, family, and personal spirituality. Building prayer altar is not about telling God what we want but to turn our hearts to Him to know what He wants. He knows our hearts more than we do. He heals the brokenhearted and binds their wounds. Psalms 147:3. God’s altar brings atonement, healing, restoration and reconciliation. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive my sins, iniquities and transgressions. Give me clean hands and a pure heart to turn from my ways to yours. Sanctify my thoughts, my emotions and my body as a burnt offering unto you at the altar. I surrender and yield to your spirit, for you are my God and I am your child. Let me die to the flesh, and live in thy Spirit. Guide me to your path of righteousness for your Name sake, and deliver me from the evil one, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
