Today’s Inspiration: “The Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you. John 14:26 Only the Holy Spirit can make us hungry for the word of God, thirsty for the worship of God and desire for the will of God. He breaks the flesh, for friendship with the world is enmity with God. 1 John 2:15 Spiritual discipline delivers us from being lukewarm, dry and oppressed by the enemy.

When we are busy and only desire the things of the world, the love of God, the Father is not in us. Therefore praying in the Spirit, worshipping in the Spirit and filling with the Spirit awakens our Spirit man to overcome temptations and the devil’s evil schemes. The bondages after Covid 19 is lukewarmness, lovelessness and laziness. We spend time on screens more than our sacrifice for physical worship, prayer and fellowship. We need to be filled and follow the Holy Spirit leading daily. God’s comfort comes from consecration, communion and communication in the Holy Spirit. For we shall received power when Holy Spirit comes upon us. Acts 1:8 When there is a sacrifice at the altar, there is fire! Romans 12:1

Prayer: O Lord my God, may your spirit fall afresh upon me and stir up a new hunger and thirst for your righteousness. You give us peace, joy and love with faith to overcome all challenges and weariness. Your Spirit is the fountain of life and in your light we see light. Healing, deliverance, miracles, signs and wonders are your children bread. Even your crumbs frees the oppressed. How much more the infilling of your Holy Spirit, who we desire daily. Come and fill us again with your Spirit and Fire, in Jesus Name, Amen.
