1 April 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”An angry person stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered person commits many sins. Pride brings a person low, but the lowly in spirit gain honor.“ Proverbs‬ ‭29‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Anger is a self sabotaging spirit which satan uses to enter into homes, marriages, families, businesses and workplace to steal, kill, and destroy. John 10:10. Any decision made in a moment of anger, rage or resentment hardens one’s heart and causes one to be callous and indifferent to sin. Anger is the invitation to pride, troubles, and destruction. Anger is also the spiritual root cause to many critical illnesses which is toxicity to the blood and organs due to bitterness.

In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭26‬-‭27.‬ Anger is a generational iniquity which must be broken because anger is a source of curses, witchcraft, and rebellion due to defilement of the tongue. Do you find yourself easily angered or fly into rage for days? Childhood injustice, insecurity, and jealousy are roots which need to be removed for divine healing, reconciliation and character transformation. ‭Repentance, forgiveness and grace are God’s spiritual weapons of warfare against the demonic spirit of anger. It brings peace, patience, and perseverance to our souls. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, bind and uproot every roots of injustice, insecurity, jealousy and bitterness in my life. I repent of any anger, resentment or rage to my family, colleagues and even church members. Heal my broken heart and bind up my wounds of the past. Let your Word be new seeds of the Holy Spirit be planted in me that I shall bear the fruit of the Spirit of self control and patience, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
