Where Are You Matters

“How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young— a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God.” Psalm‬ ‭84:1-3‬ ‭NIV‬‬.

Most of us want to be where we want to be rather than where God dwells. King David didn’t have a home because he was chased again and again by Saul. He knew what it is to be homeless but He knew even better where He should be, God’s divine dwelling place, His presence which is the place of Prayer. If a sparrow know where to have her young at the Altar. What about your children? As Godly parents, it’s our responsibility and accountability to God in bringing our Children to the House of God and build a relationship with God. Bad company corrupts character. 1 Corinthians 15:33.

There no greater joy than to have our whole family in the House of God, a place of relationship, fellowship and worship to know our hearts. Christ is the greatest treasure in our hearts and children would only know if they encounter God in their hearts. So let’s all come to encounter God in the House of God.

To God be the glory!
