Who We Follow?

This denial is not self-denial of our identity but a denial of our worldliness, fleshliness, self-centeredness. Without us knowing who we are giving up for we will not be able to become a disciple in God’s kingdom.

The first step is to be a living sacrifice unto God. Romans 12:1. Who is Jesus to us? Just to bless us of all our needs and we do nothing to respond to the one who took our sins, our death, our judgements and our condemnation at the Cross of Calvary? Jesus is the one who awakens our conscience daily to know we are saved by grace through faith in Him. Ephesians 2:8

We are not following pastors, leaders, or man in Christianity but Christ Jesus, His Word, and His Calling and Purpose of our Abba Father God. Who are we truly becoming? The one who hurt you or the one who saved you, the one who offended you or the one who forgave you, the one who gave up on you or the one who gave Himself for you. Who is Jesus to you?
