“Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me. I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!” Psalms 66:16-20 NIV.
We all need love in this world. But the question is what kind of love? In Greek, love can be Eros which is romantic, Philia which is brotherly, or Storge which is parental. But they can fail us at times in our lives because of conditions and this leaves with only with Agape, which is unconditional love from God that is through Christ Jesus. Remember God always answers His children with love and acceptance in prayers, petitions and thanksgiving in the hearts. Philippians 4:6.
True love only begins with Christ, who saved us by grace through faith. We love because God first loved us and gave His best for our lives who is His only Son Jesus, to die for our sins at the Cross and by His blood we are healed from the inside out. Open your hearts today for Jesus, and let His love come in and reside. Revelation 3:20.
