Most secular perceives prayers are just verbal chants or repetitive utterance of religious words. How wrong this could be. Our prayer to God can open up the heavens and reveal new visions and revelations into our lives. Luke 3:21
To ask is to be specific in our prayers and not be filled general statements. By this, we would know that only God hears the details. To 'find' speaks of prophetic visions, and dreams which reveals the languages of God which so many patriarchs have encountered. To 'knock' speaks of bold actions to take by faith in reaching out to God. Prayer is likened a child who isn’t afraid to ask His father for favour, who always know how to find him and who doesn’t limit oneself to know his plans.
None of the world religions speaks about us as children of God except Christianity and none speaks of any God that is willing to give up His crown in heaven and to come on earth to wear a crown of thorns for the remission of sins at Calvary hill. John 3:16. There God loves prayers with childlike faith, in absolute trust through our Messiah, Christ Jesus.
