Today's Inspiration: We are God's fellow workers, you are God's field and God's building. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. 1 Corinthians 3:8.
Obedience is the key to success. Meditation will lead us to the door of blessing but obedience is the key that opens the door and sends us through.
When God spoke to Joshua, it was not only to inherit a spiritual blessing but to work out the practical things in life. He has to apply knowledge he gained to the meditation of His word to make choices and decisions in the days ahead. Joshua 1:2-6. This is where many of us fail thinking that the Bible is specifically spiritual and nothing else. What is written in the Bible is God's program. We must take ownership of it for every faculty of our life be it for church, domestic, business, social or any area that involves our decisions. Our behaviour must reflect what we preach. When God gives us a promise, He gives us courage and strength to bring it to fulfillment. V7. One of Joshua's greatest covenant with God is that he and his household will serve the Lord. Jos 24:15. He also challenged his people to do so. What about you? God be praised.
Prayer: Abba Father let us not follow the stubbornness of our heart to continue with our plans our ways but shape us according to the vessel of honor and obedience as You will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
