8 January 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s in Inspiration: “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew‬ ‭5:14-16‬. ‭

Many people are afraid of Christians because we tend to share our faith openly, convict people candidly of their sins and pray for people compassionately. It’s not easy because we do face prosecutions or rejections. But what is marvellous is that people notice Jesus and His miracles, signs and wonders begin to happen. In fact I was one of those who were afraid of Christians in my pre-believing days but God drew me close supernaturally. Today I find tremendous joy in sharing the gospel because I have tasted the goodness of the Lord. Psalm 34:8. Let’s pray that more supernatural encounters in evangelism for the young and old in 2022.

Prayer: O Lord My God, let me be your light to the world. Protect and bless me with thy favour as I evangelise to others with your gospel of Good News, salvation and your love for our souls at the Cross of Calvary. Let the sleepers be awaken by your Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
