Today‘s Inspiration: “By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”Hebrews 11:5. In Genesis, we were told Enoch walked with God and pleased Him only. In today’s day and age, our greatest frustration is putting our hope in man or things which are temporal, futile and shakeable. Jesus foretold about the wars today, the divisions of the nations and elemental forces which will shake the earth. Life is temporal but the salvation of souls through Christ is eternal, and unshakeable.
Enoch was a prophet of God and he foretold of the ungodly shall be judged by the Lord for their ungodly deeds, ways and words in the end of times. Jude 1:14-15 Salvation is not a ticket to heaven but a process of Sanctification. Are we walking with God and using His words as the lamp to our feet and light to our path? Our faith is not just for finances, healing, miracles, signs and wonders but above all our faith is Holy because our God is Holy. When we live our lives to please God only, we have His love, peace and joy within us. Our greatest security is not on the peace between nations but rather on the prince of peace, our Lord and king Jesus in our Spirit man in all situations. Are we walking with the Lord?
Prayer: O Lord my God, teach and lead us to build ourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep ourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Heaven and earth will pass away, but your Holy words will by no means pass away. Give me a new measure of faith to walk with you like Enoch did, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
