Today’s Inspiration: “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”Galatians 2:20 NKJV. Daily we have to learn how to yield to the Holy Spirit. Why? We can’t operate in the new plans of God with old attitudes, behaviour, character and even mindset. Our past pain, problems and personality can hinder our breakthroughs and cause bondages.
Only new wineskins are able to hold new wine. We can’t live as a new creation if our old man is still manifesting. The only way the old man can go is to come to Christ at the Cross. The ends of man is the beginning of God’s divine work and transformation. There is repentance, confession, and change through divine convictions of our sins, iniquities and transgressions. Surrender is a weakness to the world but renewal and redemption in the kingdom of God, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.”Romans 6:6. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, make me your new wineskin for your new wine. Let me deny myself, carry the cross and follow you. For your ways are higher than mine, and your thoughts are higher than mine. Forgive my sins, heal my wounds and restore my soul. Clothe me with your new garment of praise, cover me with thy beauty, and pour forth new oil of joy over me as your new creation, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
