6 January 2021 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: He who follows righteousness and mercy, finds life, righteousness and honor. Proverbs 21:21. Jesus directs us to seek His kingdom first and His righteousness, so that all the things we need will be added to us. Matthew 6:33. Therefore seek His righteousness that you may be justified and not be prone to accusation by the enemy of your soul.

We are justified only by our faith in Romans 5:1 and by the blood of Jesus in Romans 5:9. May we take the truth that we are justified in our spirit to look forward to a glorious future this year. It's this great expectancy that grants us the joy in whatever we do. In this year 2021 we must be careful with our speech. Delinquent speech may lead us to disaster as our words are powerful and we are nailed to what we say. The devil still prowls like a roaring lion waiting for his prey. 1 Peter 5:8.

A gentle tongue matters as it is capable even to break a bone. Proverbs 25:15. This is a demonstration of the power of our words. Words fitly spoken is like apples of gold in setting silver, V11 and is inspiring to the listeners that brings joy and nourishment to the soul and body. Therefore ponder carefully before you speak. What you speak shows the degree of the sanctification of your heart. Self-condemnation and timidity is not humility and is an Injustice to the Creator God who form you wonderfully to His satisfaction before you are placed in your mother's womb. So love yourself and don't blame yourself. Be free from guilt and remorse. Keep praising the Lord. God be praised.

Prayer: Lord thank You for your compassion towards those who serve You. Your name O Lord endures forever. Your name O Lord lasts throughout all generations. Bless the Lord O my soul. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
