31 December 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer. Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.” Psalms‬ ‭17‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ As we prepare for a brand new year 2023, our hearts may be filled with anxiousness and anticipation of what is to come. Therefore don’t let the negative news or reports of the world distract, or discourage you but rather keep our eyes on the Lord in prayer, petition and thanksgiving in our hearts and minds, who gives us peace, comfort and security for the coming year. Philippians 4:6-7.

2023 is filled with God’s wonders of His great love for us. It is a time for change, conviction and correction yet it shall also be a year of divine confrontation, transformation and reformation in the Spirit man. God opens the eyes of our hearts to reveal His deeper things and mysteries of our faith in Christ. God is able to enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.” Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭2.‬ ‭We need to strengthen and deepen our relationship with God through the foundation of His Word. This is the year to be patient and lay forth a strong foundation in Christ for the family. Home prayers and family encounters shall bring forth powerful testimonies to glorify God! Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all that is needed shall be given unto us. Matthew 6:33 Put Christ first in your heart.

Prayer: O Lord my God, pour out your Holy Spirit upon me till my cup overflows into the New Year 2023. Let my heart rejoices and my tongue give praises for your kindness, mercy and grace that brought me through the Pandemic. I believe my eyes shall see the wonders of your great love in the New Year and more of the love of Christ shall overwhelms me for the Father’s work. For yours is the kingdom, power, and glory forever, in Jesus Name, Amen!
