30 March 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord.“ Proverbs‬ ‭8‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭NIV‬‬. What we are hungry for, lay hold on us. If we are hungry for the world, we become worldly but if we are hungry for God, we become godly. The enemy’s attack is subtle to steal our hunger for God’s word, time, prayer, discipleship and presence. When we are no longer hunger for God, our spirit becomes dry, hearts becomes hardened and these places become open gates for sin to enter and eventually become demonic strongholds.

Before we can be healed and be delivered from all difficult situations, we need to humble ourselves and pray, seek His face and turn from all our wicked ways. Then He will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land. 2 Chronicles 7:14. Just a Word of God’s rhema, His spoken word can change our entire season, year and even life. When we are growing spiritually, the biggest sign is our hunger and thirst for the righteousness of Christ, which is faith in God. Because as we draw near to God, our faith increases and that destroys the sickness, poverty and fiery darts which the enemy is throwing at us. God’s blessing is more powerful than the enemy’s curses and His strength is stronger than any sickness. There is power in praying with the Word of God daily. Be hungry and thirsty for the Lord, for you shall be filled. Matthew 5:6.

Prayer: O Lord my God, as the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. Now it shall come to pass, if I diligently obey the voice of the Lord my God, to observe carefully all your commandments which you command me today, that the Lord my God will set me high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon and overtake me, because I obey the voice of the Lord your God, in Jesus Name, Amen.
