Today‘s Inspiration: “Jesus spoke, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”John 8:12 NIV. Two thousand years ago on this day, darkness fell on the hill called Calvary. It was the darkest moment in the hearts of humanity, yet it was the brightest in the Kingdom of God where love ran red and the heart of God, the Father’s love for us was fully displayed as He gave His only begotten son Jesus Christ was crucified at the Cross, for the forgiveness of our sins, iniquities and transgressions.
Giving our lives to Christ Jesus brings forth the greatest peace and joy to our souls. All our sufferings seems so small at the sight of the Cross, death not longer has it’s sting and sin no longer has its power over our lives. ”When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.“ Colossians 2:13-15. When we live for Christ, Christ is alive inside of us. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. Roman 8:1 it was for freedom Christ sets us free. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are alpha and omega, the author and finisher of my faith. I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is my Lord and saviour, who forgives all my sins and heals all my sicknesses. I am a sinner saved by grace and God’s mercies and love endures forever in my heart. It’s no longer I who live but Christ lives in me this day forth. The greater power of love is made know to mankind at the Cross and your precious blood brought salvation and sanctification to our souls with a new blessed light of life, in Jesus Name, Amen.
