Today’s Inspiration: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” James 1:2-3 NIV. Our relationship with Jesus is not built just in success or prosperity. On the contrary, our relationship with the Lord is forged and fused in tests, trials, and tribulations. One can be fighting sickness, financial difficulties or broken relationships but where do our help comes from? Our help comes from the Lord Most High, the maker of the heavens and the earth. Psalm 121:1.
It is not the minister who builds the ministry but the ministry that builds the minister. Our greatest potential is only revealed in our greatest test in life. It was Goliath that exposed David to his strongest calling. The devil is a liar and he will always discourage, distract and dismay your thoughts and emotions by doubting God’s promises and prophecies about you written in the gospel. Apostle James shared,” Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:4-5. Don’t give up easily your calling, purpose and will in God through Christ Jesus. Persevere on.
Prayer: O Lord my God, “what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet. I am an overcomer to the end because the King of Kings that overcame death and the world is living inside of me and is alive, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
