27 March 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: "One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." Proverbs‬ ‭11‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Our calling is intimately connected to our sacrifice in the Kingdom of God. Many desire the anointing of God but few are willing to pay the price and make the sacrifice. There is no fire of God without sacrifice on the altar of God. Spiritual growth comes not from our comfort or complacency but from challenges and pushing the envelope of faith in our lives.

Jesus taught,”For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭25.‬ ‭Giving is the greatest fulfilment and purpose in our walk with God. The greatest power comes from the Cross and the greatest victory comes from the Resurrection of Christ. The burden of giving burst forth the breakthrough in our calling from God. 2 Samuel 24:24 .Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬-‭8‬. ‭Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, direct me to your calling and harvest of the kingdom of God. Give me a new measure of faith. For God is not mocked, for whoever sows shall reap. Let I not be weary in giving, sowing and plowing because in God’s kairos and appointed time, I shall see the goodness of God and reap everlasting joy and fulfilment. May the sacrifice of praise and my heart be pleasing unto God, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
