26 January 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” Hebrews‬ ‭13:1-3.‬ ‭Empathy brings tremendous healing to the soul and broken hearted.

The voice of the Spirit was compelling the Church to love and build closer relationships through reconciliation with God and others. He is releasing many from bondages, hatred, bitterness, and unforgiveness of the past. We have to prepare our spirit to take actions by faith. Apostle James taught,” What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James‬ ‭2:14-17‬. ‭So let’s take faith actions to build relationships by reaching out to help our brothers or sisters in need despite whether they are believers or pre-believers in 2022, that we may bring them into salvation.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let thy Spirit of patience, kindness and goodness compels my faith to bring more souls into the Kingdom and forging stronger relationships with God in the family. Use me as your vessel and instrument for your glory, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
